SCOTS SHINE AT DONINGTON AS KNOCKHILL HOME ROUND LOOMS!
Scottish riders made their presence felt across the classes at Round 2 of the British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, bringing home wins, podiums, and crucial points.
With momentum on their side, Scotland's racing stars are heading north for their massive home round at Knockhill on 19th – 21st June! Here is how they fared:
- Superbikes: Rory Skinner put in a brilliant, gritty performance on the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha R1, securing a pair of excellent 6th place finishes and a hard-fought 7th. He heads to his home round full of confidence.
- Supersport & Cup: Oliver Barr bounced back from a race one DNS to claim a strong 9th in race two. In the Supersport CUP, Keo Walker showed great consistency with two superb 4th place finishes.
- Superstock: Mixed fortunes in this one. Declan Connell rode a stormer to finish 4th, while Callum Bey bagged points in 12th. Unfortunately, Lewis Rollo suffered a DNF but will look to bounce back on home turf.
- Sportbike: Adon Davie was right in the mix, securing a fantastic 6th and 4th across his two races.
- Moto4 British Cup: Jack Dunabie stole the headlines with a sensational 1st place victory and P2 in race 2! He was well supported by fellow young Scots Tyler Humphries finishing in 9th, 13th and Charlie Cunningham in 12th, 19th
- Junior Sportbike: Marley Mackenzie had a dream weekend, taking a spectacular 1st place win in race one and backing it up with 3rd in race two.
