The opening round of the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park saw a sensational showing from the Scottish contingent, proving that local talent is in prime form ahead of the home round at Knockhill on 19th–21st June. From dominant victories to hard-fought podiums, the "Scots pack" made their presence felt across the entire paddock.
Perth’s Rory Skinner delivered a masterclass in consistency in the premier class. Securing a 7th, 8th, and a brilliant 6th place finish, Skinner banked vital points and showed he has the pace to run with the front-runners.
The Superstock class saw standout performances, led by Lewis Rollo, who secured a superb 3rd place podium. He was joined by Declan Connell, who claimed a solid 8th, and Callum Bey, who fought into the points with a 15th place finish.
In the Supersport ranks, Oliver Barr mirrored his consistency with 6th and 7th place results. Charlie Cunningham progressed brilliantly through the weekend to take 7th in his final race, while Lennon Docherty secured an 11th. In the Supersport Cup, Keo Walker overcame a DNS in race one to grab a fantastic 3rd place podium in the second outing.
The weekend's biggest celebration came from Marley Mackenzie, who claimed a stunning double victory in the National Junior Sportbike class. In the British Sportbike category, Adon Davie put in a strong shift with 8th and 6th place results, while Tyler Humphries secured a pair of 12th place finishes. In the Moto4 British Cup, Jack Dunabie showed incredible speed, securing a 2nd place podium and a 4th.
