YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS ACTIVITY UNLESS THE FOLLOWING UNDERTAKINGS ARE TRUE AND YOU HAVE SIGNED THIS FORM TO THAT EFFECT. 

Knockhill Racing Circuit Limited ("Knockhill")

Car Trackday (“the Activity”) 

1. Prior to completing this Declaration I confirm that I have been provided with the following documents and material by Knockhill (“the Pre-Event Information”):
1. Safety Briefing Video
2. Booking Confirmation 

2. I confirm that I have read and understood the Pre-Event Information, including all instructions provided within the Safety Briefing Video. 

3. I am familiar with the nature of the Activity I wish to undertake, as described in the Pre-Event Information, and accept that, despite Knockhill taking all reasonable precautions, damage and injury may occur. I accept these risks and take part in this the Activity at my own risk. 

4. I confirm that I meet the Participation Competency Requirements as provided for within the terms and conditions. 

5. I confirm that I am not taking any medication or drugs (whether prescribed or otherwise) that may impair my ability to take part in the Activity. I do not suffer from, and have no history of, any medical condition that could affect my ability to take part in the Activity.  

6. I confirm that I have read, understood, agree and will at all times comply with the track regulations and supplementary regulations (“the Track Regulations”) provided within the Pre-Event Information. I agree to promptly comply with all instructions and directions given by the organisers, instructors and any other representative of Knockhill at all times while attending the venue. I acknowledge that failure to comply with the Track Regulations or instructions and directions may result in my exclusion from any further participation in the Activity. 

7. I accept that, in the interests of safety, the organisers and instructors may, at their sole discretion, exclude me from further participation in the Activity in the event that in their opinion I am behaving recklessly, dangerously or in any manner which threatens the safety of me, other activity participants, instructors, organisers or any other person on site at the venue. 

8. I am aware and accept that other participants may be using the track at the same time as me during my participation in the Activity. I acknowledge that Knockhill shall not be responsible for any liability, claim, loss, damage, costs or expense of any kind or nature (except for any liability of Knockhill for death or personal injury caused by any negligence or breach of contract of Knockhill, its employees or agents) arising directly or indirectly through the actions of other track users. 

9. I acknowledge that Knockhill owes no obligation to provide a refund or other form of reimbursement for any unused portion of the Activity which I am excluded from participating in. 

10. I confirm that the vehicle I intend to use for the Activity, as detailed above, (“the Vehicle”) is safe, complies with all relevant regulations (including, but not limited to, the Track Regulations) and is fit to use for the purposes of the Activity. I confirm that I am aware of no issue or feature of the Vehicle which might compromise my safety, the safety of other participants, instructors, organisers or anyone on-site at the venue. 

11. I understand that Knockhill accepts no liability for any damage or loss caused to the Vehicle (whether controlled by me or any other person) during the Event. I acknowledge that Knockhill’s insurance does not cover damage or loss caused to the Vehicle (whether controlled by me or any other person) by me or any other person during the Activity. I understand that use of the Vehicle during the Activity is at my own risk and that I take responsibility for any damage or loss caused to the vehicle (whether controlled by me or any other person) during the Activity. I acknowledge Knockhill’s recommendation that I procure my own trackday insurance for the purposes of the Activity. 

12. I confirm that I am either the owner of the Vehicle of that I have the owner’s permission to use it for the purposes of the Activity. 

13. I accept that full protective equipment and clothing must be worn by me at all times whilst using my vehicle. This incudes, but is not limited to, use of a crash helmet, use of a seatbelt (or, as the case may be, racing harness) and use of protective clothing. I confirm that I agree to wear and make use of all protective equipment as directed by instructors, organisers or other representatives of Knockhill at all times while attending the venue. I acknowledge that failure to use protective equipment as directed may result in my exclusion from the Activity. 

14. I am the holder of a full licence to drive the Vehicle on public road OR I am the holder of the appropriate licence for the Vehicle as issued by the relevant UK governing body (e.g. Motorsport UK/ SACU / ACU). I understand that instructors, organisers or other representatives of Knockhill may require inspection of my relevant licence prior to participation in the Activity. 

15. I understand that photographs and filming may take place during the Activity. These images may appear on our website, email newsletters and social platforms and in our printed materials produced for promotional purposes. We will not use the photographs/film for any other purposes. Copyright will remain with Knockhill Racing Circuit Ltd. If you do not agree to use photographs or filming that may contain images of you to be included for the purposes stated, please advise a member of staff before the start of the Activity. 

16. I confirm that I fully understand and accept the terms of this Declaration.
