Circuit Map and Camping Info

With only 2 days to go until the start of the McRae Rally Challenge sponsored by Beatson’s Building Supplies at Knockhill this weekend; we though we’d give you some further information about camping and where things will be situated on site.

McRae_updates2Camping: The campsite will be situated behind Clark’s Corner with access to the site available from 12pm onwards on Friday 15th May. The campsite has shower and toilet facilities; however, there are a few restrictions we’d like to make you aware of:

–       No animals will be allowed into the venue at any point
–       There is no power at the campsite
–       BBQs are not allowed
–       No awnings are allowed in the campsite
–       There is no additional lighting at the site at night so please be onsite before it gets dark (9pm latest) to pitch tents etc.
–       Cars may be parked next to tents dependent on space
–       Tickets will be exchanged for camping bands when you arrive
–       The campsite will close on Monday 18th May at 12pm; you are free to stay over until the Monday free of charge

The Stage: The actual stages of the rally will encompass the Knockhill Circuit, Tri-oval and hillside Rally stage. Spectator areas are available around three quarters of the track when the rally is operational. The stretch between Clark’s and the Hairpin parking area will be closed during this period.

Disabled Parking: We have reserved a prime spot on the paddock side of the Hairpin for disabled parking. This position, located directly next to the Livingston Autopart Hairpin Shelter should provide disabled spectators with an excellent view of both the hillside and on track stages.
