Buckle up for Knockhill’s rally event to start 2026 – the Border Access Knockhill Stages. It is round one of the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, with the winning crew being awarded the Jimmy McRae Trophy.

Organised by the Border Ecosse Car Club, there’s nothing like a rally day, and this high-energy, multi-stage event will have you right in the heart of the action as drivers tear through our iconic venue. 

This exciting event opens the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship, Back to Roots Tarmack Championship, AS Performance North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship, and the MG3 Rally Challenge for 2026.

Spectators are in for something special! The paddock is open for a close-up look at the cars and teams, and for top-notch viewing, in-field viewing is available or head over to the hairpin to take in the hillside stage.

With around 90% of the stages visible from these prime spots, it’s a front-row seat to the action.

INTAKE is back at Knockhill for a weekend celebrating everything automotive! Whether you’re a proud car owner or a passionate fan, there’s something for everyone. Explore an incredible range of club stands and individual displays, admire stunning vehicles from classic to modern, and enter your own car in the friendly ‘show and shine’ competition.

The action doesn’t stop off-track — up to 150 drivers will take to Knockhill’s legendary twists, dips, and undulations, giving spectators an up-close look at cars in full-flight. Open to all road and track cars, and perfect for first-timers with a full briefing provided. Hot Hatch Track Sessions will also be available soon.

Classic Sports Car Club - Day & Night Racing Summary

We are delighted to be welcoming back our friends from the Classic Sports Car Club and their competitors for Scotland's first day into the night race meeting. After a full day of championship racing on Saturday, 26th September, drivers, officials and marshals will stand down as dusk approaches, taking a break before taking to the track under full night conditions. 

The sight and sound of a wide variety of classic cars racing in daylight will be replaced with race cars with headlights on, glowing disk brakes and flaming exhausts! A unqiue feature to add to the challenges for all taking part.

The CSCC brought their superb range of classic sports and saloon championships north of the border in 2021 featuring their Modern Classics, Future Classics, New Millennium Classics and Tin Tops. The confirmed classes for 2026 are to be confirmed, but expect a similar mix of championships with local racers welcome to join in this unique event.

KMSC Bikes Final Round ft. Jock Taylor Race Summary

The 2026 KMSC Championship reaches its high-octane finale at Knockhill as the clockwise circuit hosts a weekend packed with speed, skill and show-stopping racing. Sunday’s headline act — the Jock Taylor Trophy — sees 20 top-flight sidecar teams push to the limit for one of the sport’s most respected prizes.

Across the event, more than 140 riders roll out for 28 races that will decide titles, settle rivalries and deliver wall-to-wall action. Every class brings its own fireworks, making this the biggest showdown of the season.

Adding to the excitement, the Global GT Lights will also be in attendance, bringing their compact, motorcycle-engined prototype-style racers for some seriously quick and agile action!

With another Best Of Scottish themed event, both days running in clockwise direction, this event also brings the SMRC Championships to life, including the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup, Fiesta ST Cup, C1 Cup, and Classic Sports and Saloon Championship that join us for the Sunday Only.

Live-Action & Fireworks Spectacular Summary

Get set for a spectacular day of family fun as Knockhill’s Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular returns for 2026! Taking place on Saturday 7th November, this much-loved event is back with even more excitement, blending high-octane motorsport action with one of Scotland’s most dazzling fireworks displays.

Gates open from 1:00 pm, with live track entertainment firing up from 2:00 pm and the show-stopping fireworks finale lighting the sky at 5:30 pm. All the action unfolds around our iconic tri-oval section, promising fast-paced thrills and unforgettable views all afternoon.

Families can look forward to a packed programme of activities, with plenty to keep kids smiling long before the fireworks begin. Whether it’s the roar of engines, the colourful displays, or the buzz around the venue, it’s the perfect autumn day out for all ages.
