Buckle up for one of Knockhill’s rally events to start 2025 – the Border Access Knockhill Rally Stages 2025. There’s nothing like a rally day, and this high-energy, multi-stage event will have you right in the heart of the action as drivers tear through our iconic course.

This exciting event opens the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship, Back to Roots Tarmack Championship, AS Performance North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship, and the MG3 Rally Challenge for 2025.

Spectators are in for something special! The paddock is open for a close-up look at the cars and teams, and for top-notch viewing, cross the bridge to the track center or head over to the hairpin to take in the hillside stage. With 90% of the course visible from these prime spots, it’s a front-row seat to the action.

Kick off 2025 with this fantastic rally event at Knockhill – the first of two rally events this year with the return of the McRae Rally Challenge on September 20th and 21st.

2025 Class Categories

Class 1

Class 1: Rally Cars up to 1400cc
Class 1 is all about precision and agility, featuring rally cars with engines up to 1400cc. These compact, powerful machines bring thrilling competition to the rally, where skilled drivers push them to the limit on every stage.

Class 2

 

Class 2: Rally Cars 1401cc to 1600cc
Class 2 features rally cars with engines from 1401cc to 1600cc, offering a strong mix of power and agility. These cars bring faster speeds and tighter handling, delivering thrilling competition on every stage.

Class 3

 

Class 3: Rally Cars 1601cc to 2000cc
Class 3 features rally cars with engines from 1601cc to 2000cc, delivering impressive power and speed. These machines bring intense competition, with drivers pushing hard through every stage.

Class 4

 

Class 4: Rally Cars 2001cc and Over (2WD)
This class features powerful 2-wheel-drive rally cars over 2001cc, bringing serious speed and intensity to the competition.

Class 5

Class 5: All 4WD Rally Cars
Class 5 features all 4-wheel-drive rally cars, built for top traction and speed across challenging terrain.

Prepare for a true rally experience as nearly 50 cars and crews take on 10 challenging stages covering close to 40 miles from 8.30am. This exciting event opens the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship, Back to Roots Tarmack Championship, AS Performance North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship, and the MG3 Rally Challenge for 2025.

 

The event will feature high-speed action across Knockhill’s main track, perimeter road, and hillside rally stage. Fans can look forward to 5 competition classes, showcasing cars like the Metro 6R4, Evo 9, Subaru, Fiesta, Mitsubishi, and classic Escort Mk1s and Mk2s. For rally enthusiasts, this is a must-see day of pure motorsport.

 

Gates open at 7.30am, parking is free and on-site. Be part of the excitement.
