As Scotland's National Motorsport Centre, we are delighted to offer both the 'Motorsport UK' approved course for Racing (ARDS) and Rally Driving (BARS). On successful completion of this half day of training, you will be the proud owner of an Interclub Competition Licence. All you need now is a set of wheels to Go Racing or Go Rallying!

Realise your dreams and get yourself 'Licensed To Thrill'. Choose the 'Motorsport UK' approved course for Racing (ARDS) or Rallying (BARS) and on successful completion, you will be the proud owner of an Interclub Competition Licence. All the necessary application forms and documents required are provided. This course takes place over a half day!
The Type R responds instantly to the driver, no hesitation. Underneath the sculpted bonnet lies a four cylinder VTEC TURBO engine. It’s no surprise to discover this gives the Type R the ability to sprint from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds and achieve 169 mph top speed.
Custom built full rally specification Fiesta Zetec's Rally cars boast 150bhp powering you through the challenges of the hillside rally stage with ease. They have fully-featured roll-cages and safety harnesses and a hydraulic handbrake to help with all those tight twists and turns bringing your rally experience to life.
Knockhill Racing Circuit is Scotland’s only approved Motorsport UK and FIA Internationally graded Circuit and is famous for hosting major televised motorsport events such as the British Touring Car and the British Superbike Championships.
Race Track
A demanding road-circuit style track, 1.27 miles (2km) long, and 30 feet (10 m) wide, with a dramatic series of twists, turns, drops and climbs, varying by around 200 feet (60m) from highest to lowest point. Drive on the same International Circuit as driven by Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss, David Coulthard, Lewis Hamilton, Paul Di Resta and our very own BTCC Stars Gordon Shedden and Rory Butcher.

The cost of your first years licence
A medical, completed by your GP is required for the ARDS Course (racing) if you are over 60 years old and is NOT required for the BARS (rally) course. This should be completed prior to the day of your test.
