Your Ultimate Drivers Experience
The crème de la crème! Start your day off with our ever popular Formula Race Car experience driving on our international racing circuit; with your adrenaline still pumping, it's off to the Karting track for a competitive karting race event. A quick pit stop allows you time for a delicious lunch at our restaurant and then off to our hillside rally stage for a sideyways blast in a rapid Ford rally car. This is our top value experience and packed full of driving fun.
Formula Race Cars
The excitement begins as you climb into the cockpit of the Formula Race Car and take a seat just inches above the tarmac. With a light body, the power to weight ratio is awesome. A long wheel base offers stable cornering in all weathers; the 1.8 litre, 16 valve mid-engine allows for speeds in excess of 100 mph.
Alpine A110 Sports Car
We're thrilled to introduce you to this multi award-winning sports car - the Alpine A110. Made by the historic French sportscar manufacturer Alpine, this car is loved by everyone who gets behind the wheel. It's fast, agile, and perfect for the twists and turns of Knockhill's iconic racing circuit. In fact, Top Gear awarded the Alpine A110 both ‘Performance Car of the Year’ and ‘Sports Car of the Year’, calling it "One of the best sports cars ever made." We couldn't agree more! This seriously quick car is a real driver's car, and we know you'll love it as much as we do.
Ford Fiesta Zetec Rally Car
Custom built full rally specification Fiesta Zetec's Rally cars boast 150bhp powering you through the challenges of the hillside rally stage with ease. They have fully-featured roll-cages, safety harnesses and a hydraulic handbrake to help with all those tight twists and turns bringing your rally experience to life.
Sodi GT5 Pro Kart
Our Sodi GT5 Pro Karts are powered by LPG fuel with a Honda GX270cc engine boasting speeds in excess of an impressive 50mph. They are one of the most versatile karts on the market with high reliability, excellent driving, agility and outstanding quality shock absorption.
The Track
Knockhill Racing Circuit is Scotland’s only approved Motorsport UK and FIA Internationally graded Circuit and is famous for hosting major televised motorsport events such as the British Touring Car and the British Superbike Championships.
Race Track
A demanding road-circuit style track, 1.27 miles (2km) long, and 30 feet (10 m) wide with a dramatic series of twists, turns, drops and climbs, varying by around 200 feet (60m) from highest to lowest point. Approved for use in both directions.
Rally Stage
Made up of different surfaces with some intense twists and awesome turns. One mile long and is versatile enough to be driven in both directions. The stage is frequently host to prestigious National rally events, top calibre rally cars and competitors.
Karting Track
500 metres long and 9 metres wide, fully floodlit and operating all year round. Fast straights and tricky twists and turns make for exciting racing with plentiful overtaking opportunities and the latest lap timing technology.

"Straight to the point, this was amazing. The staff were great, friendly and helpful, but the driving was so much fun. Getting taken round in the Honda, shown what lines to take and what kind of speed you should be doing was really interesting, and push the F1 car as fast as you can down the straights is great. The rally car for me was the best. I think if you can be a bit brave and push yourself a bit, you'll enjoy it a lot more than if you let your nerves get the better of you. I definitely had more fun once I started picking up the speed and using the handbrake. Driving on the track was great, the Honda and F1 style cars were great fun, but the rally driving was next level. Unbelievably fun and adrenaline pumping. I'll definitely be back just for the rally experience again."

"What a great day out! This was a birthday gift with all the family present for the events; a few laps (under instruction) in a 306 bhp turbo Honda Civic followed by more laps in a 1.8 formula racing car... exhilarating and exciting - just the thing for lovers of speed. Then off to thrash about in various heats in the go-karts...competitive and thrilling. Lunch was included and the rest of the family joined me... menu was fine and food was given good feedback by all. The final event was the Rally Experience which involved having to learn how to deal with a completely different way of driving... pure adrenalin making magic! The last part of the day is announcing the ‘driver of the day’ and handing out certificates with instructor’s comments and scores provided. Not only was this an awesome experience for the participants but also for their families and friends. There are lots of options for viewing each event. Staff are friendly and very pleasant and helpful. Instructors are patient and encouraging and keep things going in a personable and light-humoured manner. Thanks and well done Knockhill Racing Circuit."
