Knockhill launches its most varied car racing calendar yet for 2026 - including a night race!
Scottish Legends to feature at two BTCC events within an expanded race schedule.
The Knockhill events team, in conjunction with the Knockhill Motor Sports Club, are delighted to announce the provisional car race dates for 2026, which features the widest range of quality race meetings yet, including Scotland's first night race!
Car racing at Knockhill, Scotland's National Motorsports Centre, in 2026 will have a blend of major events such as the British Touring Cars on August 8th & 9th, Scottish championship dates featuring visiting rounds from south of the border, and the return of the Classic Sports Car Club who will host Scotland's first night race on September 26th!
Stuart Gray, Knockhill Director of Events said, "We are delighted to be announcing the provisional car racing dates for 2026 which takes our selection of events to a new level. Topping the bill are arguably the highly successful and popular Scottish Legends, who will guest race at two British Touring Car events: the first at Oulton Park in Cheshire in June, and then at their home event at Knockhill in August, as well as a full Knockhill calendar. It is anticipated that they will be racing in front of 40,000 fans and enjoying worldwide exposure through the BTCC platforms and ITV4 coverage. The hugely entertaining Caterham Festival returns to Knockhill in August, and in September, we are hosting our first-ever night races for competitors from the Classic Sports Car Club".
Local KMSC and SMRC racers will be enjoying a varied and spiced-up schedule of events with the return of a number of visiting rounds, including Super Karts, Northern Sports & Saloons and a new 90-minute 2CV 2-driver race.

- May 16th/17th - Classic Champions Event
- June 6th/7th - Scottish Legends at Oulton Park BTCC
- July 11th/12th - Scottish Championships with a Citroen 2CV Endurance Race
- Aug 8th/9th - British Touring Cars Championship with Scottish Legends
- Aug 15th/16th - KMSC/ BARC Caterham Festival
- Sept 12th /13th - Full Scottish programme
- Sept 26th - Classic Sports Car Club - Night Race (racing to 10pm)
- Oct 10th/11th - Finals Day - the championship decider
