Cook and Buxton confirmed BTCC 2026

Cook and Buxton Locked in for Speedworks 2026 Assault

Speedworks Corolla Racing has officially confirmed its driver line-up for the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, with multiple race-winner Josh Cook returning alongside rising star Max Buxton.

The duo will pilot the team’s two Toyota Corolla GR Sport entries as they mount a full-season assault on the title.

Proven Experience Meets Rising Talent

  • Josh Cook: A double Independent Drivers’ champion and 21-time race winner, Cook returns to lead the charge. He famously capped off the 2025 season with a commanding victory in the final race at Brands Hatch, proving he is a major contender for the year ahead.
  • Max Buxton: The 20-year-old impressed during a partial campaign in 2025, showing maturity and consistent progress after graduating from the Fiesta ST150 Challenge. This marks his first full-time season in the UK's premier touring car series.

Team Principal Christian Dick noted that maintaining continuity with both drivers who worked together at the end of last season will be a "huge asset" as the team pushes for consistent podiums and wins.
