Dexter Patterson Joins PMR for 2026

Power Maxed Racing (PMR) has officially confirmed that Scottish driver Dexter Patterson will lead their charge for the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.

The 22-year-old makes his return to the grid to pilot one of the team’s brand-new Audi S3 Saloons. This signing marks a new chapter for PMR as they transition to the Audi chassis following a "rollercoaster" 2025 season.

A Strong Connection

Patterson's move to PMR follows a unique act of sportsmanship last season; when the team suffered a devastating fire, the Patterson family stepped in to loan them a Cupra Leon to ensure they could finish the championship.

Now driving for the team officially, Patterson is aiming high:

  • Jack Sears Trophy: After scoring wins in the category last season, he is a top contender for the title.
  • Consistent Performance: Patterson aims to leverage the new Audi technical package to fight regularly at the front of the grid.

Team Principal Adam Weaver praised Patterson’s "phenomenal" karting and single-seater pedigree, stating that the young Scot provides the perfect platform for the team to challenge for silverware across the board in 2026.
