Knockhill Re-awarded the Armed Forces Gold Covenant after 5 years of commitment.
StuartGray, Knockhill's Director of Events was honoured to receive the Armed Forces Gold Covenant recently at the Black Watch Museum in Perth as one of only four organisations in the country to be re-awarded this accolade and recognition after 5 years of supporting the Armed Forces.
The award was presented by Surgeon Commander Rob O’Donnell – Commanding Officer of HMS Scotia with the three other recipients being Aberdeenshire Council, IED Training, and West Dunbartonshire Council.
Knockhill's commitment to the Armed Forces continues in 2025 starting with the hosting of two Armed Forces Appreciation events in April with the first round of the car championships on the 5th & 6th and bike racing on the 12th & 13th . All serving and veterans have free entry to the event, anyone accompanying gets for half price and there will be a wide range of Armed Forces charities present to promote their valued support and services. In addition, Blue Light card holders and NHS workers will enjoy the same free entry to both events.
