Bathams AJN Racing have unveiled their new livery and plans for the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship, following an impressive debut season. Fans’ favourite Storm Stacey is set to return, and the team will switch to Ducati machinery for the upcoming campaign.
Since its formation in 2018, Bathams Racing has steadily established itself in the championship. In their first Superbike season with Stacey, the team achieved consistent top-ten finishes, ending the year inside the top ten in both team and rider standings.
At just 22, Stacey remains one of the youngest riders on the grid and heads into his seventh season in the championship. His pace, consistency, and determination last year made him the natural choice to continue leading the team in 2026.
The team will now race on the Ducati Panigale V4 R, a machine Team Owner Michael Rutter has a long-standing connection with through his own career and his father’s.
Stacey said: “2025 was mega for me and being able to race further towards the front of the field in the top five regularly was such a boost for me. The team was new to me, but I can’t fault their effort and the atmosphere, so staying with them for 2026 was a pretty easy decision, especially with the switch to Ducati happening too.
“At the time of this press release, the bike is 98% built and ready to test, so you can imagine just how keen I am to throw a leg over it and see what the fuss is all about, which will be very soon. Until then, I really want to say a massive thanks to all the teams’ sponsors for backing this massive new project, and a shout out to my fans who have been wanting to know what I’m up to. Thanks for your patience, but I really do believe this news was worth the wait!
