The Border Access Rally returns as round one of the Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, with the winning crew taking home the Jimmy McRae Trophy.

Organised by the Border Ecosse Car Club, this high-octane, multi-stage event puts you right in the heart of the action as the crews tear through our iconic venue. There’s nothing quite like rally day.

There’s plenty for spectators to enjoy. Head into the paddock for a close-up look at the cars and teams, then pick your spot for the stages. You can watch from the infield or take in the hillside stage from the hairpin.

With around 90% of the stages visible from these prime spots, you’ll have a front-row seat to every moment.

Event Info

Prepare for a true rally experience as cars and crews take on 10 challenging stages covering close to 40 miles from 8.00am, as used on the International McRae Rally Challenge.

The event will feature high-speed action across Knockhill’s main track, perimetre road, and hillside rally stage. Fans can look forward to 5 competition classes, showcasing cars like the Metro 6R4, Evo 9, Subaru, Fiesta, Mitsubishi, and classic Escort Mk1s and Mk2s. For rally enthusiasts, this is a must-see day of pure motorsport.

Gates open at 7.30am, parking is free and on-site. Be part of the excitement.
