Scottish Championship Car Racing - Final Round Summary
Get ready for the grand finale of the 2026 Scottish motorsport season! The Knockhill Motor Sports Club and SMRC proudly present the Best of Scottish Club Racing event, featuring Scottish Legends, Mod-Sports, and all the SMRC championships. Adding to the excitement, the Global GT Lights will also be in attendance, bringing their compact, motorcycle-engined prototype-style racers for some seriously quick and agile action!
Championships will be decided at Knockhill this weekend, with only Scottish ModSports wrapped up by Adam Morrison.
Jack Irvine leads the Scottish Mini's ahead of Chad Little and Michael Williams, while Gerry Hendry heads the Fiesta ST standings ahead of Jamie Dickie and Kieran Preedy. Things are even tighter in the C1 Cup, where just 25 points separate top-three contenders Marc Nisbet, Ayden Wilson, and Gregor McPhaden. Meanwhile, in Classic Sports and Saloons, only 40 points split title rivals Adam Kinmond, Alastair Baptie, and Ian Moton.
In the largest grid of the weekend, Matthew Pape and Michael Weddell are set to battle for the top step in the Scottish Legends. Adam Kindness leads the overall Super Lap Scotland "King of the Hill" standings, holding a narrow advantage over David Wallace in second, with David Capstick currently occupying third.
