🏁 The Final Showdown: 2026 Champions to Be Crowned at Knockhill!

It all comes down to this! The final round of the Scottish Championship Bike Racing season lands at Knockhill for a massive 28-race weekend, and the title fights are right on the wire across all classes.

The drama couldn't be higher in the CB500s, where Fraser Mutch (241 pts) holds the slimmest lead imaginable—just a single point ahead of Steven Allan (240 pts)! In the Superbike class, Bruce Birnie sits top on 261 points ahead of Sean McTaggart (206 pts), while Ben Mcluskey (184 pts) leads the Clubman subclass on 144 points. Over in Supersport, Keo Walker (270 pts) aims to seal the overall title, while Liam Keirnan (275 pts) commands a strong lead in the Supersport Cup.

In the PI600 class, Arthur Christie holds the advantage on 238 points as Alan McGregor (176 pts) leads the chase behind him. Elsewhere on the grid, Darren Cox has already wrapped up a dominant maximum campaign in the 300s (300 pts), but the 300 Restricted class is still up for grabs with Harris Tall (260 pts) leading Bryony Smart (201 pts). Jack Dunabie (295 pts) leads the Lightweight standings ahead of Kian McDonald (201 pts), while Tyler Humphries holds the advantage in the Lightweight Cup on 165 points.

With the legendary Jock Taylor Trophy sidecar showdown also on the bill, it’s set to be non-stop track action from start to finish.

Grab your tickets, head trackside, and come watch the 2026 champions get crowned!

The final round of the 2026 season arrives at Knockhill, bringing two days of high-energy racing as riders push for their last chance at KMSC and Scottish Championship silverware. A full grid of classes — including Superbikes, Clubmans, Supersport, CB500s, Pre-Injection 600s, Lightweights, 300's and Sidecars — ensures a packed schedule from start to finish.

Across the weekend, 28 races deliver constant action, with full grids reaching speeds of up to 170mph and fighting hard for those decisive end-of-season points. From 10am to 5pm daily, fans can enjoy hours of racing value and top-level competition.

Fast, fierce and full of atmosphere — this is the ultimate season finale for Scottish motorcycle racing.

• KMSC Superbikes and Clubman sponsored by Shirlaws Motorcycles - Our Scottish/KMSC Superbike competitors will take to the track five times over the course of the weekend, aboard machinery boasting 1000cc and over. Our Clubman competitors will also join these races creating a race within a race.

• KMSC Formula Supersport sponsored by Cupar Motorcycles Racing - The Scottish and KMSC Motorcycle Formula 600 Championship will see upwards of 30 racers take to the track aboard 600cc (and over) motorcycles. These race machines from the likes of Yamaha, Triumph, Kawasaki and Suzuki provide plenty of close-knit racing with the top finishers in class crossing the finishing line within seconds of each other.

• KMSC Lightweights sponsored by Stiggy Motorsport - The Lightweight class is actually made up of several different classes – each competing for their own Championships that include – Mini Twin and Formula 400.  Due to the differences and variety of bikes on show, there is always some really exciting racing, with passing moves galore throughout the field.

• KMSC Pre-Injection 600 sponsored by Reynolds Racing - Like the Formula 600 machines, the Pre-Injection 600s also boast up to 600cc but are generally older spec machines. This class provides plenty of thrilling racing and offers a relatively cheap route into the world of bike racing. This class sees newcomers entering the fold each and every season and often sees its elite competitors progress onto the Clubman, Formula 600 or Superbike categories.

• KMSC Formula 300s sponsored by Motorrad Central - This is the class most connected with young racers. It’s for 300s, production based motorcycles and is often the starting point for youngsters entering the sport. You’ll see young men and woman, as young as 12 years old, compete against each other at incredibly close quarters. This class is all about learning the track, improving times and improving race craft – yet still, maintains a real competitive edge to the racing.

• KMSC CB500 - This class has went under a transformation in the past few years. Re-introduced a few years back, this class has gone from strength to strength. We now regularly see over-subscribed grids with competitors needing to pre-qualify just to make the grid. The parity of the bikes performance allows for great, close racing with championship battles regularly goiung down to the wire.

• Marin Scottish Sidecars - Witness the thrill as these spectacular rider-and-passenger racing machines chase Scottish Championship glory! On Sunday afternoon, the action heats up even more with the iconic Jock Taylor Trophy race.
