The Rewind Classic Festival will not only feature stars from the 5 decades of Knockhill, but bikes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, plus an exciting array of activities both on and off the track, that will excite and entertain old and young alike! 

The event will host a multitude of bike sports; from 50 lap endurance races (Sat only) to classic bike racing, classic bike parades, mini moto demos, plus more — this event will have nonstop action across every corner. Whether you're a fan or a racer, there's something thrilling happening every moment!

This is the event every bike sport enthusiast, rider, and Knockhill fan won't want to miss.

John McGuinness MBE

 

John McGuinness is a legendary motorcycle racer and one of the most successful competitors in Isle of Man TT history with 23 victories.

Niall Mackenzie

 

Niall Mackenzie is a Scottish motorcycle racing icon, celebrated for his successful career in 500cc Grand Prix and for winning three consecutive British Superbike Championship titles.

Taylor Mackenzie

 

Taylor Mackenzie is a successful Scottish motorcycle racer, known for his British Superstock 600 and British Supersport Championship titles.

Rory Skinner

 

Rory Skinner is a Scottish motorcycle racing sensation, known for his 2020 British Supersport Championship title, his multiple wins in the premier British Superbike Championship, and for competing in the prestigious Moto2 World Championship.

50 Lap Endurance Races & Classic Races

At the upcoming Rewind Classic Festival this Saturday, prepare for a fantastic day of non-stop racing action! The main event features not one, but two thrilling 50-lap endurance races. The first race will feature a mix of CB500, Lightweight, and PI600 machines, while the second will showcase the power of Formula Supersport and Superbike classes. In addition to the endurance battles, we will also have exciting classic bike races from the SCMRC, with categories for Pre-73 and Post Classics 125 and Pre-89 Classics.

For those interested in entering the endurance races, riders have the option to either share a bike or use their own.

Yamaha Cadbury's Boost YZF750

 

Niall Mackenzie is synonymous with his iconic Yamaha Cadbury's Boost YZF750, a bike he rode to win three consecutive British Superbike Championship titles from 1996 to 1998.

Padgetts Honda Fireblade Superstock

 

In 2009, John McGuinness rode a Padgetts Honda Fireblade Superstock to a fifth-place finish in the Superstock TT race, and third place in the National Superstock Championship. 

350cc ‘Potts’ Manx Norton of 1959

 

The 350cc 'Potts' Manx Norton of 1959 is a renowned classic racing motorcycle, famously developed by Steve Potts with an innovative short-stroke engine that was campaigned by riders like Geoff Duke.

Yamaha YZF-R7 Superbike

 

Noriyuki "Nori" Haga famously rode the Yamaha YZF-R7 Superbike in the 2000 World Superbike Championship, where despite winning four races, he controversially finished second overall.
