This weekend seeing the final motorcycle race meeting of 2026 and promises to be a classic as most of the Knockhill Club championships are still to be decided. Stuart Gray, the KMSC Chairman said "We will all be on the edge of our seats this weekend as it is the finale of one of the best seasons in recent years at Knockhill. Across the board there will be elation and tears of frustration as the chequered flag falls after each rider completes their four championship races over the weekend. We cannot wait to see who takes the top step of the podium and ultimately the end of year silverware."
In the Formula 300's Darren Cox has scored a perfect 12 from 12 race wins so far and comfortably leads Leon Tall but he cannot afford a slip at any time. Harris Tall has the Restricted 300s title in the bag whilst the biggest class, the popular CB 500s has a one point difference between the leading two of Fraser Mutch and Steven Allan. The Lightweights has Jack Dunabie in a strong position whilst there are only 12 points between Tyler Humphries and Lewis Paterson in the Lightweights Cup.
Arther Christie has a commanding lead in the Pre Injection 600's whilst it is more likely a race for who finishes second to Keo Walker in the Supersport class as Liam Kernan has a slender 4 point lead over Scott Shand who is in 3rd. Liam has already wrapped up the Supersport Cup with 275 points so will already be collecting some silverware at the Clubs annual awards. Finally, in the biggest capacity class the KMSC runs, the Superbikes and Clubmans, it is the legend that is Bruce Burnie that has a commanding 55 point lead in the Superbike Class with Ben McLuskey scoring a perfect 12 from 12 and has a strong lead in the supporting Clubmans Championship.
On three wheels, Sunday's headline act — the Jock Taylor Memorial Trophy — sees 12 top-flight sidecar teams push to the limit for one of the sport’s most respected prizes. Jock was Scotland's World Champion Sidecar racer in 1980 and is still revered across the sidecar racing world. Many of his family will be in attendance on Sunday to present the trophy to the winning duo.
Across the event as a whole, more than 140 riders roll out for 28 races that will decide titles, settle rivalries and deliver wall-to-wall action. Every class brings its own fireworks, making this the biggest showdown of the season.
Two days. Eight hours of racing each. One epic finale. Don’t miss the moment the 2026 champions are crowned at Knockhill.
