The 2nd running of the McRae Rally Challenge event sponsored by Beatson’s Building Supplies and supported by Event Scotland takes place at Knockhill over the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July.
This special single-venue Rally event will bring together a wealth of special content to commemorate Colin McRae’s WRC title winning season of 1995.
As well as a competitive, 85-car rally, spread over 10 Stages and 40 stage miles, the event will house an iconic selection of Colin’s cars including the WRC-winning Subaru (L555 BAT) and many cars from the family’s private collection.
We’ll have 6 World Champion star guests, a live interactive stage to hear from the greats and three generations of McRae will compete in the rally itself with Jimmy, Alister and Max McRae all set to star over the weekend.
A fantastic collection of WRC, Group A and Group B cars will be on display and paraded throughout the course of the weekend.
Additional guest appearances from WRC star Elfyn Evans (Sunday) and Sir Chris Hoy who will make his rally driving debut in a Mitsubishi Evo.
There’s lots going on and if you are into your historic Rally cars then this is the event for you.
