The sun is shining for the first day of the Motorrad Central Road and Track Weekend. We have 2 FULL days of Bike Action on track, off track and on the road! (Sat 31st May & Sun 1st June 9am – 5pm).
On track – we have over 90 bikes running on the circuit all day. Our top bike instructors Dennis Hobbs and Duncan Vincent will be taking the riders out all day. You can also test ride the brand new BMW S1000RR on track – FREE OF CHARGE*. (Even if you are not booked on the trackday you can still come along and test ride the bike – you must produce your full bike licence at sign on).
Dirty Demos with Simon Pavey – Simon Pavey, Dakar legend and proprietor of BMW’s OffRoad Skills courses in Wales is joining us for the weekend.Each 90 minute session on One of the Off Road R 1200 GSs will involve; Basics of off road riding, Use of brakes off-road, Basic manoeuvres off-road, Motorcycle recovery – how to pick up a bike, Riding an off-road trail. Each session is £49.99 and includes the use of our Off Road prepared R 1200 GS motorcycles.
Road Rides – Fancy trying out the latest BMW? You can take one of the top models out on the roads FREE of charge, all you need is your road licence.
Focused Events CTS Machine & Mini Bikes – The idea of the CTS Machine is to teach riders the technique of ‘counter-steering’ without the danger of crashing through overloading the front tyre. The mini bikes help riders because they are small they very quickly give the riders confidence to chuck them around, and with instruction it’s easier to explain and experiment with body position and cornering technique in this controlled environment. This activity is FREE of charge and open to the public (must have full road bike licence).
