Our World of Supercar event on Sunday 12th August is shaping up to be a ‘super’ event in the most exceptional way. As well as over 200 Supercars on show, Supercar Passenger Laps (charges apply), it’s another of our popular ‘Super Six’ family days with lots of additional entertainment just for the kids; it’s also a Superhero themed day and we’ve also got some supercharged tractors on show just for good measure.
Pist n Broke, Dieselross and Gator will be here on display; special exhibits brought along to Knockhill by the Scottish Tractor Pullers Club. The tractors all compete in the supercharged sport of tractor pulling and when you have a look at the images you’ll see these monstrous beasties are supercharged to the hilt.
Martin Ross, 2017 British Champion in the Super Farm class will be here to help promote the sport to a wider audience at Knockhill. They’ll have the tractors on static display at the event, but will also fire them up on occasion to give the crowds an indication of theses powerful machines by revving their engines. They’ll also have DVD action of Tractor Pulling playing at the event to give the masses an idea of what goes on at their events, as well as, posters of all the tractors on show for the public to take away.
So, if your are into extreme tractors and tractor pulling, then make a date at Knockhill for the World of Supercar Show on Sunday 12th August.
Jim Whitecross, driver and owner of the Powerwasher Services Tractor Pulling Team – who’s tractor is nicknamed Gator said:
“The Scottish Tractor Pullers Club will be attending with a static display of 2-3 tractors and will also be doing an engine start to let spectators experience the noise of the most powerful motorsport in the world.”
You can book tickets to the event online now via the Knockhill website (all subject to pre-booking discounts). Tickets can also be purchased at the gate on Sunday 12th August – at the gate price. Hope to see you and your kids here for another epic World of Supercar Show.
