Dalziel jets in to test Rangers’ Superleague car

Wishaw racing ace Ryan Dalziel jets into the UK today from his adopted home in Orlando to test the Rangers car in the new Superleague Formula at Donington Park. The 26-year-old will start the new season as one of the favourites to lift the inaugural title.

“It’s going to be terrific testing the car for the first time in Britain,” the 26-year-old admitted before catching his flight to the UK. “I know the car’s very quick and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel.”

Dalziel, who has forged a highly impressive racing career in America driving in the Toyota Atlantic Championship, Champ Cars and most recently Grand-Am, will return to Donington next weekend (Aug 30/31) for the season’s opener.

Rangers will be joined on the 20-car grid by cars representing Liverpool and Spurs, as well as cars backed by the likes of AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto and Olympiacos.
