Metzeler tyres reigned supreme during the 1000cc Superstock races at Knockhill today, Sunday 24th May. Bob Grant, riding is Yamaha R1 took victory in the opening race of the 2009 Superstock Championship following an altercation between the two leading riders.

Meanwhile in the second race Torquil Paterson riding his Suzuki GSXR 1000 also running the Metzeler race tyre secured top spot on the podium with Bob again putting in a brilliant performance to secure second. Overall a fantastic double win for the Metzeler tyre brand.

Knockhill commentator, Duncan Vincent recently had the privilege of a passenger ride on a Scottish Championship sidecar at Motorfair and had this to say about the experience, “It feels as though my arms have been ripped from their sockets, that was pretty scary l have to admit”.
