The Pit Stop Challenge is a national competition in association with GoMotorsport, which aims to introduce youngsters into motorsport.
At a recent event held at Cumbernauld College two teams were selected to attend the Pit Stop Challenge Grand Final to be held at Knockhill Racing Circuit on Sunday 23rd May (as part of the Official Scottish Motorshow). Six other colleges will host similar events over the coming months to complete a 14 team finale.
Cumbernauld Pit Stop Challenge times were as follows: Team Torque completed the Pit Stop in 34.4 seconds and Piston Heads completed in a time of 38.1 seconds.
