Knockhill Superbikes is like a “World Cup” of bike racing

Some of the top names in the world of bike racing are all set to go head to head at the Knockhill British Superbike round.  Champions from around the bike racing world of TT racing, street circuit racing and in circuit racing will all race at this year’s Superbike round – making the Knockhill event one of the best yet.

Leading the interest from the fearsome TT racing are two of the most successful racers in the Island of Man’s 103 year history.  Ian Hutchinson from West Yorkshire and John McGuiness from Morecambe are the two of the most successful riders ever, with Hutchinson taking an unprecedented 5 major wins out of 5 last week.

From street circuit racing, Scotland’s own Stuart Easton has won on the twists and turns of the challenging Macau Circuit in the Far East, whilst from circuit racing, the entry reads like a World Cup who’s who with riders from JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, FINLAND AND IRELAND as well as all four corners of the UK.  Racers such as KIYONARI, KAGAYAMA, WALKER, RUTTER AND EASTON will take on the unique challenges of Knockhill.

Action is on both Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July from 9am each day.  Full event information is available on www.knockhill.com with discounted tickets available in advance or at the gate.
