Reeves confirmed for Jock Taylor Races

Triple World Champion to battle for Jock Taylor honours.

The Kirkcaldy & District Motor Club have today announced the exciting news that Triple World Sidecar Champion Tim Reeves and his passenger Gregory Cluze have confirmed their entry for the final Jock Taylor Memorial races.  Brit Reeves is currently in contention for this year World Championship and is looking forward to the event at Knockhill on the 14/15 August to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jock Taylor’s World Championship title.

There are a number of top UK competitors looking to give Reeves and Cluze a run for their money:  Ken Knapton with passenger Tony Belsey and (Scotsman) Scott Lawrie with passenger James Neave are all regular competitors in the World Championship with Knockhill regular Lawrie hoping for a home advantage.  As well as the world series stars many teams from the British series will battling for honours, heading the list is local team Craig Nichol and Ralph Pryde from Fife.  

There looks set to be a bumper entry with 20 outfits already confirmed for the celebration weekend featuring 7 sidecar races and a full programme of Scottish Championship Motorcycle racing.
