Shedden seemingly unstoppable

Gordon Shedden kept up his seemingly unstoppable form at Knockhill by decimating his rivals in second Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship free practice.
Scottish hero Shedden, mesmeric to watch around Knockhill’s twists and turns, set the fastest time of the day so far with a lap in 53.092s. This was faster than the time he’d produced to top session one and also some 0.212s clear of the rest. It was also under Darren Turner’s 2007 race lap record.
That’s despite the fact Shedden’s Honda Racing Team Honda Civic is laden with 18kg of success ballast due to his current fourth place in the standings. Furthermore, Shedden also then went on to complete a lengthy race run, regularly setting times that would have placed him inside the top three.
