THE NEW FORTH crossing could, after all, be given a name. That statement in itself may well sound strange, but prior to the start of the Scottish Government election Transport Minister Keith Brown had stated there were no plans to change the name from its project title, the Forth Replacement Crossing, writes Jim McGill.
“The Forth Replacement Crossing” — it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, does it? Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco?
