4 hours of drift action at Knockhill today from 1pm

The cars have arrived, the paddock is full and the engines are being warmed up for the best drift action in the UK this weekend at Knockhill as the British Drifting Championships uses its unique twin track format today. Both the hairpin tri oval and the daunting first corner will be used today between 1pm and 5pm as all the drivers practice and qualify for tomorrows championship runs.

Admission is only £5 (£3 for concessions) and under 12s are free with top drivers such as Shane Lynch taking to the track today after lunch. Tomorrows hampionship day starts at with qualifying from 8.45am, with tehe Semi Pros and Pro heats and finals from 2pm. There is sure to be a full day of action, together with public drag and drifting during the lunchbreak and over 150 Club cars on show too.
