FELIX MENDELSSOHN MAY have found peace and inspiration when he visited the island of Mull to compose his famous Hebrides Overture, Fingal’s Cave, in the 1820s, but this weekend the composer would be excused for running to the hills when the 43rd running of the Tunnock’s Mull Rally roars into action, writes Jim McGill.
