McNish car on provisional pole

ALLAN McNISH’S AUDI topped tonight’s opening qualifying session for the 90th anniversary Le Mans 24-Hours, writes Jim McGill. The Dumfries 41-year-old’s co-driver, Frenchman Loic Duval, set the fastest time, a 3min 22.349secs (150.68mph) in their hybrid-diesel Audi R18 e-tron quattro.
