The Maxxis British Drifting Championship screeches back into life at Knockhill over the weekend of 21/22 September. This visit marks the final instalment of the 2013 season – dubbed Judgement Day. A season ending finale at Knockhill Racing Circuit has become a regular feature for both drivers and fans alike; with the Knockhill Dift Circuit (the opening three turns on the International circuit) being regarded as one of the best in the UK. Drivers require speed, skill and precision to navigate the undulating tarmac and hell-mend any drivers who try to take on the sausage kerbs…the number of bumpers strewn across the track over the weekend will be testament to that.
As a special treat, we have managed to persuade Team JapSpeed and star drifter, Shane Lynch to provide one lucky person with a money can’t buy thrill ride in Shane’s Nissan Silvia S15 drift car. The experience will take place on Sunday 22nd September and the entrant will also receive a free FAMILY ticket to the event that admits 2 adults and 2 concessions.
