Knockhill launches 2014 40th Anniversary Season with a bumper programme of events

2014 marks the 40th anniversary of Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotland’s National Motor Sport Centre and has an impressive line-up  of  events  in store for all racing fans in Scotland. The celebrations kick off in the first week of January with the first round of the Scottish Tarmac Rally Championships, barely days after the New Year Bells have stopped ringing! The seasons highlights are the return of the MCE British Super Bikes and Dunlop British Touring Car Championships, with both events enjoying backing from  Homecoming Scotland 2014. Events Director Stuart Gray said “ We always strive to bring the best of motor sport to Knockhill and next year we will host some of the best racing in the UK on 2, 3 and 4 wheels. The highlights of the Superbikes and Touring Cars will be especially significant as the four decades of racing at Knockhill will be celebrated in style with the help and assistance from Homecoming Scotland. With more opportunities for racers to start and bumper grids in 2013, all the signs are looking positive for a vintage year of racing and track day action at Knockhill in 2014.”
