BTCC dazzles in the Knockhill sunshine

RARELY IN ITS 40 YEARS could Knockhill have witnessed such an intense day of racing as the British Touring Car Championship delivered thrilling bumper-to-bumper action, writes Jim McGill.

And at the core of the excitement — as the Fife circuit celebrated its 40th anniversary — were this year’s standout  rivals, championship leader Colin Turkington and his nearest rival, home favourite Gordon Shedden.
