Follow in the wheel-tracks of the BTCC at this weekend’s Hot Hatch Car Trackday

Following hot on the heels of the MSA British Touring Car event, this weekend’s Hot Hatch offers you the chance to emulate the BTCC stars – behind the wheel of your own car. Fancy yourself as a bit of a Shedden, Plato or Turkington; or perhaps your driving technique is more akin to the all-action style of Rob Austin; well this weekend’s Hot Hatch Trackday provides the perfect environment for you to find out just how quick you are – on a British Championship Circuit.

Our Performance French Car Hot Hatch Trackday will offer a full day of sessioned activity on track. You’ll join upwards of 150 drivers, eager to test their metal on the twists and dips of Knockhill. Five groups will run alternately throughout the day, with 30 drivers in each session. The atmosphere is always relaxed, with the focus of the day – ensuring you make the most of car and yourself.

This event also represents another of our ‘themed’ Hot Hatch events, with this one celebrating all things French. So if you have a French made model, we’d love to see you either on track or in the paddock showing off your wheels.

Never been before, but fancy testing your driving skills on one of the most demanding circuits in the UK? Worry not, newcomers are always welcome and all participants will undergo a full safety briefing before venturing on track. It really is the only place to test the true performance of your car, in a safe and controlled environment, away from the public roads.

We guarantee you’ll feel a buzz of excitement as you hold gear through Butcher’s, heading up to the Arnold Clark Chicane, a split-second pause as you head onto the exit kerb and then it’s back on the gas for Clark’s Corner; before the long-sweeping bend of Hislop’s takes you into the Hairpin. You’ll have plenty of time, on the day, to perfect those racing lines and with plenty of others to show you the way; you’ll quickly get into a groove, out on track.
