What can I expect from car Trackdays at Knockhill?
Car trackdays give you the opportunity to take on the twists, turns and undulations of the famous Knockhill Racing Circuit in your own car. Our Trackdays offer a safe and controlled environment to test the full capabilities of your machinery, away from the public highway.
All types of cars and drivers with different experience levels are welcome. We are always open to newcomers and if you’ve never done a Trackday before, don’t worry: you’ll receive a full safety briefing before venturing out on track. This will ensure you are perfectly equipped to tackle Knockhill, normally reserved for some of Scotland’s and the UK’s top racing championships.
What’s the difference between a car Trackday, Tracknight or Hot Hatch events?
Open Pitlane Trackday and Tracknight
The beauty of an Open Pitlane format is that you have the freedom to enjoy Knockhill’s famous circuit whenever you please, taking breaks when your car needs to and taking to the track when you’re ready – making for a relaxed and enjoyable track experience!
There are many opportunities to enjoy an open pitlane event in 2016 with these trackdays scheduled during the week and at weekends. Throughout the summer months we regularly host Tracknights from 6-8pm on midweek evenings. There’s nothing like an adrenaline rush after a hard day’s work!!
Hot Hatch Day
Track activities are split with sessions for road cars and track cars, giving you the time to enjoy the atmosphere of the day and have well-earned breaks between driving stints! You will enjoy up to six track sessions throughout the day.
Off track there is always plenty to see and do if you are into motorsport, masses of all kinds of performance and modified cars fill the paddock, with their owners keen to showcase their pride and joy in the organised Show’n’Shine competitions.
Normally, our Hot Hatch events take place on one Sunday per month during the off-season, and every 6-8 weeks during the summer.
