Four-time British Championship winner, Glen Richards joined the Smiths Racing team at Knockhill recently for a pre-emptive MCE British Superbike test ahead of Round 4 of the 2016 season.
We caught up with Richards during one of the quieter times during what was a busy day of testing which saw the former BSB rider take to the track aboard a third Smiths BMW.
Richards, now utilising his vast experience to help Alex Lowes? in World Superbikes spent some time discussing BSB, Smiths Racing, Niall Mackenzie, Knockhill and of course the TT – particularly focusing on former-teammate, and man-of-the-moment, Ian Hutchinson following a superb tally of victories at this year’s Isle of Man TT – with potentially a Senior TT victory on the cards in Friday’s big race.
