SCOTLAND’S LEADING MOTORSPORT drivers gathered for the annual Scottish Motor Racing Club Awards, with Gordon Shedden and Sandy Mitchell taking the top trophies, writes Jim McGill.
Shedden, the 37-year-old from Auchterarder, who won the British Touring Car Championship for the third time this year, received the prestigious John Romanes Trophy awarded to the driver who has displayed ‘excellence in motorsport throughout his career’.
