We are excited to unveil that specialist Ford dealers Elite Automotive, are supporting the Scottish Ford Live event as title sponsors on Sunday 21st May. The event has become the 3rd biggest Ford event in the UK with owners travelling from all over Britain to take part in the track time and show. This year, with the support of Elite Automotive, some new and additional attractions will add to this already impressive event with world renowned stunt driver Paul Swift making a welcome return to Knockhill after almost a decade. Paul is famed for his amazing parallel parking stunt, parking a Ford RS within inches of two cars and his drifting skills are legendary. Most impressively, he will be driving the RS on two wheels as he navigates the track.

Teaming up with Elite Automotive, Knockhill Director of Events Stuart Gray said, “We are delighted that Elite Automotive has supported the event in this way. Some 500 plus Fords are expected within a crowd approaching 3000, making it one of the biggest events we will host in 2017.”

Elite Automotive was founded by Tom Fairgrieve, Kevin Russell and Kevin Whyte combining 60 years motor trade experience with Ford and Audi. The company started trading in December 2015 and aims to provide the best “Hand Picked Hot Hatches” in the UK with unsurpassed levels of preparation and customer service!

Co-founder of Elite Automotive, Tom Fairgrieve, stated, “We are delighted to become the Title Sponsor for the 2017 Scottish Ford Live event at Knockhill. With over 60 years combined experience working with Ford, we feel this opportunity was too good to pass up and is an ideal way for us to show the Ford community (RSOC, ST Owners Club, Ford Mania) how passionate our new business is about selling Performance Fords. Our customers and our cars come first every time and we only sell cars we would drive ourselves! We are also excited about meeting Paul Swift and witnessing his exceptional stunt driving skills!”

The event has grown this year with a new undercover exhibition area for the very special concours Fords and a gathering of custom painted trucks. We also welcome M Sport, as they will be promoting their new range of M-Sport Ford Transit vans beside an enthusiastic number of privately owned M-Sport Transits that are transforming the van scene.

With track time expected to sell out for our two dedicated Ford only sessions and four Hot Hatch groups, it’s important to pre-book via our Trackday website.

The magnificent display of 100’s of Fords old and new, the amazing skills of Paul Swift and the new enhanced event, supported by Elite Automotive, will prove to be another hit for all fans of Ford across Scotland and beyond.
