KMSC May Event Highlights 2017

Once again, the top Scottish motorcycles riders rocked up to Knockhill this weekend (27/28 May) for another non-stop race meeting that saw seven Championship classes compete on track, with over 130 riders taking part in a 31-race schedule over two days.

A fast and frantic weekend was made even better with glorious sunshine bathing the venue for the whole weekend, despite some iffy weather reports beforehand, and the vast majority of the country enduring rain at some point over the weekend. To say, that was a nice change to the norm at Knockhill, was refreshing particularly with an MCE British Superbike Championship 3-day meet on the horizon.

Here’s just a few highlights from today’s action. Like what you see? Then come along to our next meeting in July, to see the action first-hand.

Our next KMSC bike meeting takes place over the weekend of 29/30 July and will also feature our highly-popular Rewind Classic Festival. If you have a bike from the 70s, 80s or 90s you can get involved for as little as £5. There are even a number of trackday sessions and parades to participate in for those wishing to take their bikes on the famous twists and dips of Knockhill.

Finally, we’d like to say a massive thanks to all the marshals, riders and officials for another pulsating weekend of motorcycle racing. Congratulations also to all those race winners and podium scorers. Hopefully we’ll see you all back in 62 days for more of the same.
