We are delighted that one of the three very special single seater race cars which will be entertaining the crowds on 03/04 June, has a closer connection to the Super Tourers and Scotland than at first look. The Laurent Aiello F3000 is the sister car to his then team-mate Allan McNish, the current President of the Scottish Motor Racing Club. Not only that, Laurent went on to F1 and ultimately raced as David Leslie’s team mate in British Touring Cars and is the car that Derek Palmer is racing.
