SLS Round One Summary – Classes E & F

Round 1 summary of the 2017 Super Lap Scotland Championship powered by Rockstar Energy Drink. Focusing our attention on Classes F and E; which saw Chris Hislop take a well-deserved qualifying win ahead of Neil Methven and Robert Jobson in Class F. Meanwhile, in Class E, It was a battle of the Clios at the head of the field with Stuart Robertson eventually getting the better of Michael Foster and Stuart Buchan for those all-important qualifying points.

Moving into the final, with the track beginning to dry out for all competitors, it was Fraser Jamieson who made most of the conditions to secure Round 1 victory by slenderest of margins ahead of Michael Foster and Craig Wallace in Class E. Whilst, Robert Jobson signed off his day with victory in Class F behind the wheel of his Disability Motorsport Scotland Audi A3, crossing the line just 0.053secs ahead of second placed finisher Chris Hislop.
