Stewart Whyte got revenge during Sunday’s second Super Touring Car race at Knockhill Racing Circuit during the 2017 David Leslie Super Touring Car Festival event beating James Dodd and John Cleland to the top spot on the podium.
The race was shaping up to be an enthralling battle between Derek Palmer Junior who led the race from pole position following his race one victory the previous day, however a puncture sustained going through the Arnold Clark Chicane put paid to his weekend and a historic Knockhill double.
From that point on Whyte cruised to victory. A full SMRC supporting programme was also on hand that day and some of the highlights from each class can be seen in the video.
