Dunc Drives: SLS Pro Class Winning Car

In the latest ‘Dunc Drives’ vlog, SLS commentator Duncan Vincent gets to grips with Colin Dorward’s all-conquering Pro Class Mitsubishi Evo.

Colin had a tremendous season in 2017 behind the wheel of his 750bhp Evo – winning all seven rounds of the Super Lap Scotland Championship with the only blot on his copybook, a qualification defeat to Paul Rankin back in May. Despite claiming both the SLS and King of the Hill titles in 2017, Dorward is already looking ahead to 2018 with a number of modifications planned for his car.

Top of the list for 2018 is more mechanical grip and perhaps a small increase in power.  And with the Pro class looking super-competitive for 2018 already those changes may well keep Colin in the hunt for a second successive SLS title. He’ll undoubtedly face stiff competition from Pro class newcomers Colin Linklater and Matty Lawson’s new twin-charged Evo. We’d also expect to see Andrew Barber, Paul Rankin, Eric Holmes and Jack Reid in his Mevabusa, that he debuted at the final round of the 2017 season, return for another crack at the Pro class honours.

Exciting times indeed!
