Scottish Ford Live returns to Knockhill on May 20th for what is now the 3rd largest Ford gathering in the UK. Building upon a decade of previous events, we are delighted to welcome returning Kirkcaldy based sponsor Elite Automotive along with a brand new co title sponsor with AET Motorsport.
The West Yorkshire based specialist performance Ford tuning experts AET Motorsport are now on board which emphasises just how big Scottish Ford Live has become in the Ford scene. Ford owners, groups and regional clubs plus 1000’s of Ford fans from around Britain flock to Knockhill to display a massive range of Fords from old to new and always with incredible attention to detail.
This year, with the support of Elite Automotive & AET Motorsport, the event has been marked as one of our “Super Six” family events. Both new and additional attractions are being added to this already impressive event with family entertainment, fun fair, simulator, magician, face painting and stunt shows being planned to bring fun and excitement to the whole family.
Teaming up with Elite Automotive and AET Motorsport, Knockhill Director of Events Stuart Gray said, “We are delighted that Ford specialists Elite Automotive and AET Motorsport have supported the event in this way. Ford really is one of the most iconic brands in the UK and one that almost everyone can personally relate to. Over 500 Fords are expected within a crowd approaching 3000, making it one of the bigger events we will host in 2018.”
The event has grown year on year with a brand new undercover exhibition area for the very special concours Fords and a gathering of custom painted trucks. We also welcome back M-Sport, as they will be promoting their new range of M-Sport Ford Transit vans beside an enthusiastic number of privately owned M-Sport Transits that are transforming the van scene. Showing that it’s not just the cars that are the stars of the show!
The day draws to a close with a Ford only Track Invasion, where all Ford owners are invited to bring their machines on track for a gentle procession round the track. These always prove massively popular and are completely free to take part in.
