Bennetts BSB Set Up Day

Thursday on race week, is another set up day for the Bennetts British Superbike riders and teams. It’s generally a relaxed day and a great opportunity to grab a few riders before they get into racing-mode too much. So with that, we caught up with a number of riders in the morning and later in the evening.

First up, Dunc grabs a word with Taz and Taylor Mackenzie, before grabbing Isle of Man TT heroes Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison – who is sampling his first ever BSB weekend at Knockhill. Finally, after paying some bills from the centre of the circuit, it’s the other Smith’s Racing BMW rider James Ellison’s turn for a chat.

Later in the day, Dunc ventured back into pit lane and managed to grab Quattro Plant JG Speedfit Kawasaki team owner Pete Extance and Ben Currie, who returns to BSB action after a long injury lay off. We also grab a word with Jason O’Halloran, serial winner around Knockhill, Keith Farmer and James Ellison (making a second appearance on camera today) and we round out the tea-time video with Luke Stapleford.

We’ll be out and about tomorrow with more live videos and remember, there is still plenty of time to book tickets for Sunday’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship race day, and if the weather holds… it’s going to be spectacular.

See Knockhill.com for all the ticketing and camping options if you fancy making a weekend of it.
