The 2019 Scottish BMW Compact Cup got underway at Knockhill on Sunday 21st April. Former Scottish and reigning national champion Steven Dailly joined the fray to re-launch the BMW series north of the border.
Duncan Vincent recaps on a lively day of action for the opening races of the 2019 season. Rounds 2 and 3 will take place over the weekend of 15/16 June at Knockhill Racing Circuit – utilising both track layouts over a busy weekend that will include two qualifying sessions and six BMW races over the weekend.
The next BMW event will take place alongside Knockhill’s Super Lap Scotland Championship with additional content coming from the Northern Sports and Saloons Championship and the Junior Saloon Car Championship. In and around the paddocks we’ll see plenty of Japanese themed machinery as we host another of our car shows. In all, there will be lots of action on and off track.
