Show content, family activity and amended Timetable

At the World of Supercars event in association with Shore Warps we have a number of activities available for kids and families (note: these activities may change subject to weather). Our Karting Centre has allocated some time for arrive and drive karting. Two sessions have been set-aside (11.30am-1pm and 2.00pm-3.30pm) for families to enjoy a spot of competition on track (min age 8yrs+). Additional charges apply.

Costume characters will be on-site between 11am-4pm for photo opportunities with the kids.

Kids activity zone with a number of things on site for the kids to enjoy.

The Superkarts will be back at Knockhill following their appearance last month at our SMRC event. These single seat karting machines are capable of circulating the Knockhill venue in 48/49 seconds – just as fast as the supercars you’ll see on track this Sunday. We’ll have 15 or so doing a demonstration around the Knockhill Hairpin at various points throughout the day.

Up the main straight at Knockhill for all to see, we’ll have a Superbike Vs Supercar drag racing face-off as well as a demonstration from the Flyin Fyfer Drag Car. The 8.8 litre Chevy V8-engined Ford Anglia is capable of speeds in excess of 190mph – it won’t quite reach those speeds at Knockhill this Sunday, but we are sure that driver and owner Colin Millar will put on a show for visiting fans.

And, something not quite as fast but certainly louder than pretty much anything you’ll see at the Circuit this weekend is our super-tractor display. We’ll have three giant-sized tractors that compete in tractor pulling. If you’ve seen it, you’ll know exactly what we are talking about. If not, a quick google search for British Tractor Pulling and within a few moments you’ll get the picture. These 4/5/6-engined behemoths are spectacular bits of machinery, engineering masterpieces and although they won’t be full-on tractor pulling, they will create plenty of noise, flames and commotion during their proposed static routines.

Tickets for the World of Supercars event on Sunday 11th August can be booked online subject to advanced booking discounts up to midnight on Saturday evening. Alternatively, tickets will be available at the gate.
