With the Easter holidays just around the corner, we thought we’d take this opportunity to introduce our ‘Fabulous Five’ activities we have coming up over the next month. So, if you are looking for something to do with the kids this easter, we have a host of activities that will keep them and you amused for hours.
First up on Saturday 2nd April, we have a free Minimoto try out day for Kids aged 6 to 14 years. There is no charge for this day and it’s an opportunity to get kids involved in minibike racing with the generous support of McIntosh Minibikes. So, if you have a young child who loves watching bike racing on TV or even at Knockhill, bring them along for a free trial – who knows, you could be the proud parent of the next Mark Marquez. Alternatively, if you have children who prefer the 4-wheeled action and are members of our Kids Karting Club, we have a number of newcomers coaching sessions available at our Karting Centre on Tuesday 5th and Tuesday 15th April from 4pm. Included in the price of £25 per person is a 15 minute track walk session where you’ll learn some great insights about how to navigate the track faster in either our Cadet or Pro Karts (minimum age – 8 years). Followed by a 20 minute session to try out all the new cool things they’ve learned during the track walk. Call the Knockhill team for more info on 01382 723337.
And, for kids aged 13-17, we have a whole host of dates coming up for our Teen Drive Experiences. You may already have a gift voucher to redeem, or you could always book a Teen Drive Experience over the phone with one of the team and get booked into the following dates: Friday 8th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th April. This one is perfect for families with kids of all ages who like motorsport and cars. We’ll be hosting our annual Easter Family Fun Day and Hot Hatch Trackday in Sunday 17th April. As well as cars being driven flat out on track, we’ll have a host of activities for the young ones including: Face Painting, Easter Egg Rolling, Cartoon Mascots, Easter Egg Hunt and we’ll also be hosting our first static car show of the year – so plenty of cool cars for the youngsters to see. Perhaps you’d like to show your car on the day and bring the kids along to enjoy some of the other activities available – booking for the Clubstand event is online now and we’d love to see you.
If you are interested in trying something completely different, outside, in the great outdoors; then our MacTuff Kids and Sprint on
Sunday 1st May might be right up your street. It’s a 3K adventure run and a true family test through mud, water and obstacles to suit all abilities. Additionally, if you are a seasoned OCR event attendee then we also have a 5K and 10K version of the MacTuff available on the same date. Check out the MacTuff website for further info.
