We are delighted to announce the first of our McRae Rally Challenge Star competitor for 2022.
Six-time Olympic Champion, Sir Chris Hoy will be competing at the second running of the McRae Rally Challenge supported by Beatson’s Building Supplies over the weekend of 2/3 July at Knockhill. Sir Chris will be competing in this special event as we celebrate former World Rally Champion Colin McRae’s title win in 1995.
“I can’t wait, I’m so excited to be taking part in this special event; being friends with the McRae family makes this opportunity all the more exciting for me, ” said the cycling superstar, now turned race driver.
It’s also Sir Chris’ birthday today, so we’d all like to wish him a Happy Birthday from everyone at Knockhill and look forward to seeing him later this year.
Sir Chris, is the first in a series of exciting developments for the event – to be held at Knockhill later this year. More information on what Chris will be driving at the event will be released in due course – safe to say we’re all excited with the way the McRae Rally Challenge is shaping up.
